The Beach (in TOKYO!)

So today I met my friend Sean and headed for a small ride. He wanted to show me a place where you can watch the plans landing in Hanada. It was a real treat as the roads were flat, and wide, and not really busy. I will head out there again next weekend if the weather is good enough.

The highpoint was a beach that really wasn't too far from my house! I don't think I would go swiming, but would be nice to head here and crack a few beers with the boys at one point or another! The picture makes it look kind of empty I think... but it was busier and a decently litte atmosphere to it. Just relaxing to head to the beach watch the water, and the planes... at least it was for me.

A Quick Snap of the Front

Well here is a quick snap of the front of the house. I know that you really cannot see a lot, as we are in a little recessed area. I always swore up and down that I would never buy a house that was like this. Isn't it funny that you are doomed to do exactly what you say you won't? I think it shows how much I (and Kiyomi) liked the place... it was able to over come this large obsitcal. Basically what you can see here is the front door. Above that is a small second floor balcony and then above that is the front of the rooftop balcony. Paul came over last Friday night, and we had some take out food and beers on the roof. Right now, as we have not had the really bad humidity, it has been really nice to sit out there in the evening. There is a certain smoker that I think is really happy with that.

We also recieved from Kiyomi's parents a couple of plants... and already have eaten cucumbers that have grown from one of them! Eggplants are next, and then some blueberries! I will post some pictures of those later.
