Stupidest Car I have ever seen in Tokyo

Can't believe I have seen this... but can you imagine??? Someone around my neighborhood was driving around in a stretched hummer. These cars are pretty rediculus in any city, but a place like tokyo are just absolutely pointless. There are so many major roads that I know of that you couldn't even get around in this thing.

Just remember the saying:

The only thing worse than a hummer is the *sshole who drives it.

Proof Again that British Airways sucks

I feel bad for all the affected travelers who were affected by the muppets who run BA, but I have to say that I have a huge sense of joy that there new glorious terminal proves again that they are complete utter incompetent **ckwits. They are lucky they aren't in the US or they would have a HUGE class action lawsuit. And deservedly so. When they are showing things off, all you hear is how great, when they are going bad... nothing. Which for a customer service related company, is totally unacceptable. I had problems with Delta in the past... but really they were at least accessible not like BA.

Here are the links that that show some information about what happened...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7319679.stm

Interestingly enough, I don't remember hearing anything about this kind of happening around the new airports in Singapore, Korea, or even the recent upgrades to terminal 1 in Narita.

My advice... Don't bite off more than you can chew. So BA... stick to flying bi-planes in England and leave the travel and airline industry to competent companies around the world.

Kiyomi's Bar Man

This is the owner, manager and bartender at Kiyomi's favorite bar. He is a pretty good dude, friendly and likes a laugh. Here he is trying on one of his patrons coats. Yes the coat does belong to a female patron.

New App

Started to use Google calendar quite a bit. It is a good little tool, and I can actually see it from my phone now. Pretty impressive and I hope that I can finally get something that I can carry about with me that I know what i am doing on what day. I've always had a bad memory about things, but really want to make sure that I don't miss the big things.

Like the fact that Easter is coming up. I didn't know that. Living in Japan, these things aren't completely obvious to me. That is why all my friends should send me Easter Cream Eggs. That would make things perfect.

Problems Posting Photos

Almost have some nice alleteration with that title. But not quite. For some reason I am having problems with posting my photos from the Mac to my blog. Don't seem to have a problem with the PC. So I think it must be some firewall or Safari setting (but actually get the same with Firefox). Still not sure what to do about it... but will try and work it through.

Things are going well. St Patrick's party on Saturday and then Dan and Paula arrive on Sunday AM. Plus work is going slightly crazy with crap on the weekends. We'll have a busy, but manageable next couple of months.

Also for all those folks in Japan, white day is coming up. Don't forget to get your Girlfriend or wife something. Even if you did a something for Valentines, you'll score bonus points if you show up with some flowers.

Okay Okay

So its been a long time since I wrote anything... yeah I know.

Things have been busy. Work has been kind of nuts, and along with that it has killed a lot of things that I had really liked to do. This being one of them. But any how, I have a short update and let everyone know what I have been doing.

1) End of year. The end of year was good, we had our little Turkey dinner and had a few people over.
2) Christmas... as it was our first Christmas in the house we tried to spend most of it at home. Had a tree and hung around the house.
3)Kiyomi's Birthday was at the end of december and we go together at her favorite bar... some pictures to follow.
4) went to ... VEGAS. Which was pretty cool Saw the show "O" (highly recommend) and also recommend heading out to redrock. Did the grand Canyon, but would recommend going a to the closer side. Still I did something that I had wanted to do ... drive a shed load in the US and have a bit of a road trip.
