Chinese Chair

I little while back I found this chair at a local store in Japan. The price was not too bad so I broke down and bought it. It just grabbed me right from the start and I really felt I wanted it. This was the first bit of furiture that I have bought in a while, mostly due to the size of Japanese houses... I also guess that does not count the rugs we have replaced due to countless spills of Red wine.

Anyhow... I do not know what it is about this chair, but I dig it.

Papas Got a Brand New Bag

Well took the plunge and bought myself the nice leather bag that I saw in Tokyu hands the other day. Big thanks to my parents for passing along some very much appreciated birthday funds. The picture is what I bought. The purchase was even given approval by my wife! Nice!

Nikko

If you are in Japan and you have not been to Nikko I would really take the time to check it out. Some great views and certainly a refreshing change from Tokyo! While in Nikko we stayed up in a small japanese hotel (referred to in Japan as a "Pension") and were treated to a great night out of town. Place is called Tatsuke JR. I do not know a link... but I am sure that you all know what google is.

Falling Blossoms in Kamakura

Here is a scene of some falling blossoms in Kamakura. We are at a temple famous for its bamboo gardens.

My Folks are in Japan

My Parents are here in japan right now. This photo was taken on a really nice and sunny day by a kind woman who offered to take a picture of us together. The photo is on a street in Kamakura that is lined with cheer blossoms. All in all a nice day out.
