Some Guelph Photos
Hey All... so did a little side trip to Guelph and hung out with some friends. A big thanks to Brendan and Tia (and Liam) for putting up with me for two nights. It was great to see them and I really enjoyed being out of Toronto for a bit. Guelph is such a different place than I live, it is a totally great place to visit. Next time I will have to drag the wife along. It was also good to see Roger pop down too.
Just out of Guelph is a nice little place called Elora. The gorge is well... gorgeous.. and wish it was warmer for a nice long walk/hike around it. Well... as always, next time.

Paul's Rolling Work of Art
Don't think I've put this picture up before. Well if I have, its a nice one anyway, and I think worth looking at again and again. Paul, i hope you guys have good weather and I hope that you are getting out and enjoying your bike over the long weekend. I see a lot of riders in Toronto, even in the cold weather. Most appear to be commuters, but there is a good chunk of them that are also more enthusiasts.
I guess the big difference is the "level" of bike. I really haven't seen anything like this:
For those of you that are curious. It is a Pinarello FP3. Its not a stock one, as the boys at www.wrenchscience.com offer some great upgrades on the bike. Paul's is a mixture of Ultegra and Dura Ace parts. Nice. Jealous.
Spider Car
This car has been parked near Oomori station pretty much every morning. Its a shocking design, probably one of the stupidest when I've seen in Tokyo. It basically looks like Spiderman's mask. I don't think the pictures really do this judgement. Or perhaps I am just the one with poor taste, and the Dingo is in serious need of a colour scheme update. Perhaps something like Wolverine in X-Men comes to mine. Or perhaps like superman, a pair of large red underpants should be wrapped around it. (keeps with the super hero theme).
Lunch Place
This is a place that I walk up to for lunch ... often with my teammates. It is pretty good, and tasty too. I went with Kiyomi for dinner one night. Found that it had a much more varied night time menu, and the Gyoza were also really really good. A good recommendation.
Seems that there a lot of these around town! Found one in Yodobashi camera and one in Shimbashi. The place is called Xi'an and I have to say I do recommend it.
At lunch, try the Tan Tan mein... if you like it a little bit hotter, then the Mah Ra mein is pretty good. Its cut noodles so make sure to use the bib that is provided as it can get pretty messy.
At night time I liked the spicy squid, and was also very keen on the boiled gyoza.
